Some of my personal highlights include:
- First man to complete a triathlon on each of the seven continents (including finishing the first triathlon competition held on Antarctica), raising over $60,000 for charity;
- Completed my 50x50x50 Challenge (50 sanctioned triathlons in each of the 50 United States and DC by the time I turned 50), raising $150,000 for charity;
- Finished over 200 triathlons (from Sprint distance through full Ironmans), over 100 other Multisport events, and the Boston Marathon;
- As a member of Team USA, I've proudly represented the United States at five World Triathlon and Multisport Championships in Australia, Italy, and Spain;
- Three-time winner of the coveted USA Triathlon "Multisport Master" belt buckle, including completing all ten events at the 2024 USAT Multisport National Championships;

The Exam Room is my blog that examines topics of interest to me. Particularly around the influence of technology on healthcare in America (and its impact on the public), from my "N of One" experience in navigating this rapidly changing landscape.
I also address political and public policy challenges around these topics, and you may find my straight-forward "kitchen table economics" financial analyses amusing. Of course I reserve the right to address any other topics that interest me!
