Sketch |
Since
first moving to San Mateo County in 1981, Dave Mandelkern has demonstrated
a continual commitment to volunteerism and community service while
at the same time exhibiting fiscal expertise and financial responsibility
as a successful Silicon Valley entrepreneur. His father was a college
professor and his mother a Sunday School teacher, and Dave reflects
their passion for education by having become an internationally acclaimed
expert on the use of the internet for teaching. He met his wife at
a volunteer reception, and she also actively serves the community. |

and Chief Technology Officer, Docent Inc. since 1997. Docent is
the leading provider of educational infrastructure software, such
as learning management systems, for corporations and continuing
education programs. Headquartered in Mountain View, Docent is
a publicly traded company (NASDAQ:DCNT).
- Previously
founder/co-founder/senior management at several high tech companies,
including AlmondSeed Software, Talarian Corp., V.I. Corporation,
and Cromemco.
