Biographical Sketch Since first moving to San Mateo County in 1981, Dave Mandelkern has demonstrated a continual commitment to volunteerism and community service while at the same time exhibiting fiscal expertise and financial responsibility as a successful Silicon Valley entrepreneur. His father was a college professor and his mother a Sunday School teacher, and Dave reflects their passion for education by having become an internationally acclaimed expert on the use of the internet for teaching. He met his wife at a volunteer reception, and she also actively serves the community.

  • Previously founder/co-founder/senior management at several high tech companies, including AlmondSeed Software, Talarian Corp., V.I. Corporation, and Cromemco.
