My promise to you is that I will work hard to provide open, affordable, and accessible educational opportunities in San Mateo County. I serve on the Skyline College President's Council to help improve the programs and services we offer our students. As a business leader, I have created software that helps millions of people learn. I know that education is the key to pursuing the American dream, and a quality education is one of the most important resources our government can provide. The San Mateo County Community College District should serve as a tightly integrated partner with both our local K-12 school systems and our four-year colleges and universities. It should also provide job training and life-long learning opportunities. In these economically and technologically challenging times, education is vital to creating a prosperous future for all of us. As a trustee of the Community College District, I will work hard to protect and improve our public education system. That's why I'm seeking your vote.
